I started buying Rockport Perth deck shoes in 1996. I have had at least 10 pairs of them. I had not bought any since 2017 (on Amazon), because I got a stellar deal on some other deck shoes.Over the last 5 years it seems that the footbed and heel cup are made of a lesser foam, softer and less dense. They do not ride as high up the side of the shoe. Since I bought these specifically to reduce heel strike impact, that's a disappointment.Too big stringsMe gusto tanto el color como la terminación.uy cómodosQuality shoe, however slightly overpricedHaving worn a number of Sperry and LL Bean boat shoes in the past, I can honestly say this is my new all-time favorite pair. I was looking for a pair of boat shoes with that classic look (not the modern, overdone ones like the Sperry Billfish), but with a comfortable sole that I can stand/walk all day in. To top it off, I have rather wide feet, so finding a perfect fit is never easy. These Perths have an incredibly comfortable sole with decent arch support. I can wear them at my standing desk all day and not feel flat-footed or sore in the heels after work, and can walk around town without feeling like I'm barefoot. The leather is of very good quality, and it took very little time to break them in, even going sockless my first time wearing them. I'm a true fan now, and will absolutely buy another pair once I wear these out -- which may be a long while, as they seem very sturdy and well constructed. While he doesn't mind white stitching, my husband wanted a boat shoe without white soles. It's hard to find a nice-looking boat shoe in a warm, light-colored brown that doesn't have white soles. I was happy to find these. The color in the picture (Timber) is accurate.I bought a wide size for my husband, and they fit very well. I think they are comparable in quality to Sperry or Sebago, which were the other brands I was considering. My only complaint is a minor aesthetic one. The leather extends to the sole on the heel, but not on the front of the shoe.Note: the laces are tucked inside the shoe in the picture above. They are long, and you can tie them several different ways if you want. The Rockport Ports of Call Slip-On Iooks very nice and seems to be very well made. The color is very nice and the two eyelet style is just right for slipping on and will be even better when they are worn in. These shoes were a third try to find something that fits and feels right and we finally have found it. These shoes are great for wearing around both in summer and winter (except in deep snow!) both in and out of the house. Because of the high quality leather they will age well and continue to mold to his feet so they will feel almost like comfortable old slippers. I know from past experience- he wanted new moccasin style two eyelet shoes to replace ones he has worn for many years and have finally worn thin and not really right to wear out of the house. We are very happy with these shoes!Been wearing this shoe for a very long time. Always keep a back up pair in reserve...just in case they quit making it. Received my new pair in a timely manner and the price was excellent compared to other sellers.Awsome productRockport'a deck shoe, to me anyway, are superior to Sebago or Sperry. Nice leather, great quality stitching and just a very well made pair of shoes.Slightly different colour but fit great and as expected. Good replacement for my last pair that is 14 years old.Like the colorExcellente tenue, un peu plus élaborée que les différentes Sebago que j'ai portées pendant 20 ans. Convienne aussi pour la marche tranquille.
