Within six months they had been nominated for, and won, the BBC Young Folk Award. They promptly did a round of major festivals in 2013 including the prestigious Cambridge Folk Festival and Cropredy all the time honing their stagecraft and building their reputation. In the Autumn of 2013 they were nominated for and won the Horizon Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Fellside has a reputation for discovering new, young artists and hasn't experienced anything like this rapid climb in popularity by Greg & Ciaran since Fellside introduced Spiers & Boden. With a fine repertoire of songs and tunes alongside Greg's powerful vocals and Ciaran's astonishingly talented fiddle playing this is a duo who will achieve so much over the next few years.
